Glossary
- Accessible
- Making a website available for all possible users including the vision impaired, people who may be unable to use a pointing device (like a mouse etc. Accessible websites will be compatible with future browsing technologies and often appear higher in search engine rankings.
- Content Management
- Content management is only available on dynamic sites. It allows users who have permission to log in and edit their own site content. There is no need to buy expensive programs that only give you one user license, all the editing can be done through a standard web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox etc) anywhere in the world, at any time. The benefits of content management is that you do not have to solely rely on your web site designer to make the changes for you, as well as minimising the cost for doing so. The site you are currently viewing uses content management, and is proof that webpages that use it don't have to be ugly! Our content management systems are created from scratch to suit your individual needs, we don't use third party applications which you need a degree in to change a few words.
